Actual Title Buttons – Add New Buttons to the Title Bar
Do you know what a title bar is? It’s the horizontal bar that you see at the top of any window. On the right hand side on the title bar, you’ll usually see three buttons: minimize, rezise/maximize, and close. You’ll see even more buttons on the title bar if you install Actual Title Buttons on your Windows PC. My favorite is Minimize to Tray, but there are many other buttons that you’re sure to find useful.
You’ll have to complete a simple installation procedure to get Actual Title Buttons up and running on your Windows PC. This means you’ll have to download an installer, run it, and then follow the onscreen instructions presented by a setup wizard. It must be mentioned here that Actual Title Buttons provides support for lots of Windows editions, from Windows 2000 and Server 2000 up to Windows 10 and Windows Server 2012 R2 (32- as well as 64-bit editions).
Once you’re done with the installation and you launch Actual Title Buttons for the first time, a Quick Setup will show up and will help you set up the most frequently used program features: define which buttons are presented on the title bar, define the extra menu commands that will be added to each window’s system menu, activate and define hotkeys for most used window actions.
Here are some of the buttons that Actual Title Buttons can place on the title bar: minimize to the system tray; roll up the window; make the window semi-transparent; make the window stay always-on-top; change the window’s program priority; resize the window; start a program; move window to another monitor; and more.
Actual Title Buttons is free to use for a trial period of 60 days. A prompt will remind you of this fact every day for the duration of the trial, but only once per day.
Thanks to Actual Title Buttons you can add buttons to the title bar and perform tasks such as minimize window to the system tray, make the window semi-transparent, and even launch an application.
Pros
A simple setup wizard will help you install Actual Title Buttons on your Windows PC. A Quick Setup will show up when you run Actual Title Buttons for the first time and will help you configure the main program features. Add buttons to the title bar, buttons that can perform a variety of actions. While other applications are free to try for 30 days, Actual Title Buttons is free to try for twice as much.
Cons
Trial limitations: 60-day trial; nag screen once per day.
